Our clinic runs in the same fashion as the Ketamine Infusion clinical trials.
These recommendations (NOT mandatory) are guidelines set forth by the ASKP based on clinical research showing on average this produced the most desirable outcomes and longevity. They suggest 6 infusions within 3-4 weeks of each other. We offer our infusions on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s and recommend getting in both days for 3 weeks until beginning series of 6 infusions are completed. If needed, infusions can be spread out a little more to once a week but no more than 2 weeks between the beginning infusions.
Your initial infusion will follow the ASKP’s dosing guidelines, but each infusion after that can be adjusted based on your feedback from your previous infusion experience and what outcomes have been achieved. All adjustments will be explained by your provider before starting your infusion. We feel that every patient is different and what works for one person may not be the case for another, and building a regimen specific to each patient’s feedback helps maximize the chances to obtain the best outcomes.
After the beginning series are completed patients will continue on with booster infusions that are tailored to paitent specific needs. We offer at home maintenance medication such as a nasal spray of Ketamine(NOT Spravato), that is prescribed after the 2nd or 3rd infusion. To continue using at home medications, regular booster infusions will have to be completed at least every 6 months, and medical records will need to be updated every 6-12 months.
After completing thew six infusion series, we will schedule you for an eight week follow up infusion.
